Search for a registered smeartaker

CervicalCheck has registered over 4,150 smeartakers in GP practices, Women's Health, Family Planning and Well Woman Clinics in over 1,400 locations nationwide.

The name and contact details of GP practices and clinics that are currently registered to provide free smear tests as part of the CervicalCheck programme can be found by using the search facility below.

If you have not had a smear test in the last three years you can opt-in and request an invitation letter from CervicalCheck by registering online or completing and returning a Freepost Self-registration form (See under Publications and Information Leaflets section) or by calling Freephone 1800 45 45 55.

Once you have received an invitation letter you can arrange an appointment with your preferred smeartaker at a time and date that suits you both.

In many registered practices and clinics, women have the choice of attending a doctor or practice nurse for their free smear test. In addition, many can offer a choice between a female or male smeartaker.

If you have any questions regarding the smeartaker and/or accessibility at a particular GP or clinic please contact them directly. Contact details for all registered smeartaker locations are provided.
